Beach Trip - Summer '08

I almost forgot that I finally downloaded some pics from my summer beach trip! This was my first time ever seeing the beach and I had so much fun swimming in the ocean. The waves were kind of scary at first, but with Mom's help, I quickly got the hang of it and was having a blast! I really like those seagulls too, I just couldn't seem to jump high enough to catch them :)

I can't believe it's already October...

Hey everybody! Well, time has been flying by so quickly lately and things have been very busy. So, here's what has been going on for the last month or so...

(1) The new uptown dog park opened, so I've gone several times and had tons of fun meeting new friends there. (2) Mom and I went with Aunt Charleen and Daisy to visit our grandparents in Pinehurst. They were fixing up the house and getting it ready to sell. Mom and Aunt Charleen said they had fun with it because they like watching all those HGTV shows on "staging" and this was there chance to try it out for themselves. Grandma and Grandpa seemed pleased with the results, and Daisy and I got to run and play on the golf course while we were there, so we were happy! (3) Mom and Dad went to watch the VT/ECU game in Charlotte at the Panthers stadium. They had some friends in town too, so I got to meet them. (4) My friend, Jasper, came to visit this past weekend because his parents and my parents all went to a wine festival at Southpark. (5) Mom has been taking tennis lessons every Monday night, so I get to hang out with Aunt Charleen and Daisy on those nights. This past Monday, she took us to go see Mom at her lesson, it looked like she was doing good and we had fun running all over Freedom park....

Well, there is so much more to tell, but I'm getting sleepy, so I'll have to post more later....

New Patio Furniture

Mom found some furniture for the patio this weekend, so now she can hang out with me while I play out back.... check it out!

Weekend Project - Flagstone Patio

Mom and Dad stayed busy this past weekend building a new flagstone patio and it turned out awesome! Now they will have a spot to hang out and watch me while I play in the backyard. Check out the before and after pics...

At the Dog Park

Me and my sister Daisy went to the dog park in Chantilly last night and had a blast! Lots of our friends were there, but it was really hot, so we stayed cool in the creek for most of the time...

A Day in Denver, NC

This past weekend I went up to Lake Norman with mom and dad to visit my buddy, Jasper. He lives with his parents, Geoff and Susan, in this fun house on the lake. We got to swim and play and then rested on the shady screened in porch for a while until the parents got back. They went out on the boat for a while and went swimming over by the Party Pasture. I heard Jasper's dad called them hippies, and then he started singing a song about a bad bad girl. I will have to ask Jasper what a hippie is next time I see him...
